Letter Signed by General Jean-Baptise Kleber on September 3, 1799 in Cairo, Egypt, four months after the battle of Mount Tabor where Kleber distinguished himself. Document is in fine condition with "Kleber, General en Chef " letterhead. Signature is bold with gentle chafing at top of page. Purchased in France in 2000 from auction. Also includes lithograph print of Kleber as well as a certificate from the Ministère chargé de la culture.
