Napoleonic
Conference
November 12-14
Venetian Hotel
Las Vegas

The Grand Cana;l at the Venetian
This year's venue is something of a departure for the Society,
which usually selects sites with a specific historic interest, but
we thought it was time to try a different tack.

The Colonnade at the Venetian
Without the Venetian, we would probably not have
considered Las Vegas at all, but the Venetian is one of the
most lavish hotels in the world. Its elegant baroque
atmosphere (certainly evocative of Napoleon), its unique selection
of fine restaurants (six of the greatest chefs in America under one roof),
Broadway quality shows, its
luxurious suites and a real bargain room rate makes this a
once in a lifetime opportunity for the society and its members. We
believe you will also find that Las Vegas offers some of the
cheapest air fares in the country.
Our programs will feature
interesting speakers and subjects, and the hotel offers a stunning
choice of venues where members can gather to talk about their
favorite historical subjects. We are given to understand that there is even a
casino somewhere on the premises, if that sort of entertainment
appeals to you.
Further
details about the speakers and programs will be posted on this page
as they become available.
We hope you will join us – it should be a lot of fun!
