The Napoleonic Historical Society was created in 2006 by combining the membership of the Napoleonic Alliance and the Napoleonic Society of America. The mission of the new organization is to study, share and stimulate interest in the history of the Age of Napoleon. Members' interests run from general to specific and cover all aspects of the period: history,  fine and decorative arts, politics and society, fashion and uniforms, military history, science, medicine, personalities and, of course, Napoleon.
